


Using the most up-to-date training methods, the Soccer & Science program is specifically designed as a pre-season conditioning camp. The programs emphasis is on three components - strength training, educational topics and speed work. This will provide the player with the physical benefits before the season and give them a more rounded theoretical knowledge of how to become a faster, stronger player.
Over the week, players will look at the differences between muscle strength and muscle endurance and how they will differ from position to position on the field.
Each day, players will cover an open-ended, one-hour lecture topic covering Sports Psychology, Nutrition, Sports Injuries, College Recruitment and Flexibility.
Each players sprint technique is evaluated with the use of high-speed video footage to perform a mechanical analysis, allowing each player to become a more efficient runner. Throughout the week, agility, mobility and flexibility work are covered with standardized testing procedures, enabling players to self-test after the programs concluded.
