Q. Who should I call if the weather is bad before or during the camp?
A. You can see all up-to-date news on any changes to your camp through our online 'Ticker Tape Camp News Report'. Through our Camp Listings, select the State and County your camp is located, then if their are any camp changes, from disruptions due to weather or camp location changes you will see this news scroll across the page.

Or contact your local camp coordinator who is listed on the front of your camp brochure and on your confirmation email if you signed up online.

Q. What is your general policy on inclement weather?
A. If it rains we play on, if it rains some more, we play on.
ONLY if it rains very heavily or there is thunder and lightning do we stop the camp.

Therefore, unless the weather is particularly severe, parents should arrive at the fields 15 minutes before the scheduled start of camp. Once the session has begun our Camp Director will stop the session only if the weather becomes detrimental to players safety. Parents need to use their judgment and return back to the field as quickly and safely as possible. If necessary, the Camp Director and coaching staff will move campers to a designated shelter area. Our staff will stay with campers until a parent or authorized adult arrives to collect them.
If time has been lost due to bad weather we will make every effort to make up this time later in the week. Please discuss with your Camp Director the options of extending camp times on the remaining days to cover time that has been lost. Refunds cannot be given for time lost due to inclement weather or acts of God. However, we will do everything we can to make up the time.

Q. What do I do if my camp is canceled?
A. Call 1.888.UK-SOCCA and a we can transfer you to a alternative camp in your region or assist you with a refund.

Q. What is the selection & training process for your coaching staff?
A. All our coaches are certified, professionally screened and background checked and attend a 5 day training induction in the USA.

Q. What benefits do you provide parents and volunteer coaches?
A. In addition to the family discounts and host a coach program, our camps typically offers a FREE parents/coaches clinic on a Saturday morning and access to our Coach Incentive Program for any aspiring new coach.

Q. Typically, how many children will work in a group with a coach?
A. We average 12 players to one coach (exact number may vary).

Q. Can we pay to attend the Saturday Goalkeeper or Striker Clinics if we haven’t attended the actual camp?
A. Yes.

Q. How old does my child need to be to attend a full day camp?
A. Your child needs to be 8 years of age at the time of the program.

Q. What’s the youngest age you recommend for the Goalkeeper or Striker Clinics?
A. Our recommendation would be 8 years of age or older to gain the full benefit.

Q. How do you determine which group my child will be placed in?
A. Children are typically placed by age and ability with the appropriate coach.
Requests can be made, such as to be in the same group as a friend, and we will do our best to accommodate these. However any request is at the discretion of the Camp Director and coaching staff.

Q. My child is a very good player. How do I ensure they are challenged and not in a group with inexperienced players?
A. Our coaching staff will evaluate their group on the first day of camp and then make any adjustments to ensure your child is in the most suitable educational environment. We recommend you discuss any specifics with the Camp Director on the first day of camp.

Q. Do you separate the children by gender?
A. Typically our camps are coed, although this would be a consideration should we have enough boys and girls in that particular age group.
